2. Obtaining a D-04 Visa for Ukraine
A D-type visa is a mandatory step in obtaining a residence permit in almost all cases. Citizens of European countries and first-world countries, such as the USA, Canada, and others, must also obtain a D visa, despite visa-free entry for personal purposes.
The D visa is a multiple-entry visa valid for 90 days. After receiving the visa, you must contact the territorial office of the Ukrainian Migration Service no later than 15 working days before the visa expires.
